Kevin Hacker, PhD, Principal Consultant, worked in the Emerging Technologies Group in Genomics R&D at Agilent Technologies. He assisted in IP and FTO inquiries, POC, and evaluation efforts, and he worked for Complete Genomics, Cepheid, Protein Simple, and Applied Biosystems. He was also the co-founder and CEO of a diagnostic startup. He aided in the development of 4 instrument platforms and launched 5 products. He is an Industry Advisor for UCSF’s Catalyst Award and has advised UCSF startup founders on AI driven business strategy.
